Privacy Policy
We collect the minimum we need to run bookings, payments, and notifications — and we don't sell your data. Here's exactly what we collect and why.

Who we are
GameDropoff is operated by GameDropoff LLC(“GameDropoff,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect from hunters and processors, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the GameDropoff website and related booking, payment, and notification services. GameDropoff is based in the United States and your information is processed here.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. Processors additionally provide business details — shop name, address, hours, services, and pricing — for their public storefront.
As you use GameDropoff, we store the records the platform is built around: bookings, harvest and order details (like tag numbers and requested cuts), photos you upload, messages related to an order, and reviews you leave or receive. We also automatically collect basic technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and usage activity — to keep the service secure and working.
We do not collect payment card numbers ourselves — see Payments below.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Operate the core booking flow — matching hunters with processors, holding drop-off slots, and tracking an order from intake to pickup.
- Process payments, deposits, balances, service fees, and processor payouts, and provide receipts.
- Send the status updates and reminders you'd expect (booking confirmations, order-ready notices, receipts).
- Show processor storefronts, ratings, and reviews to hunters browsing the site.
- Detect fraud or abuse, and keep the platform secure.
- Improve the product — understanding which pages and features get used.
- Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Payments
All payments — hunter deposits, final balances, and processor Season Plan subscriptions — are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We store only what Stripe returns to us: transaction status, amount, and a payment reference ID, so we can show you a receipt and reconcile an order.
Processors receive payouts through Stripe Connect, which requires Stripe to collect standard identity and banking information directly — governed by Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.
SMS & email
We send order and account notifications by text message (via Twilio) and email (via Resend). These are transactional — tied to something you did, like booking a drop-off or a status change on your order — not marketing spam. Processors can also send opt-in seasonal campaign emails to hunters who've booked with them before; every campaign email includes an unsubscribe link.
Message and data rates may apply to SMS. You can opt out of text notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by contacting us at notifications@gamedropoff.com; reply HELP for help. Opting out may limit our ability to notify you about active orders.
We do not share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. The phone number you provide is used only to send you order and account notifications, and — for a booking you place — is shared with the processor fulfilling that order so they can complete it. It is never sold.
How we protect it
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level database security so that accounts can reach only the data they should. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe and never reaches our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to promptly address issues if they arise.
Data retention
We keep account and order data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period after (for records like payment history and reviews that both sides may need to refer back to, and to meet tax and legal obligations). You can request deletion of your account at any time — see Your choices & rights below.
Your choices & rights
You can review and update your account information any time from your account settings. To request a copy of your data, or to request that we delete your account and associated personal information, email notifications@gamedropoff.com. We'll honor deletion requests except where we're required to retain certain records (for example, completed payment records for tax or legal purposes).
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information — such as the right to access, correct, or delete it, or to opt out of certain sharing. We honor these rights as applicable law requires; contact us at the email above to exercise them, and we won't discriminate against you for doing so.
Children's privacy
GameDropoff is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to how we handle your information, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
