Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and GameDropoff LLC (“GameDropoff,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the company that operates the GameDropoff website, booking, payment, and notification services (together, the “Platform”). By creating an account, booking or accepting an order, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Platform.

We use “hunter” to mean someone booking game processing, and “processor” to mean a shop that lists on GameDropoff and fulfills those orders. Some sections apply only to one role, as noted.

Eligibility & Lawful Use

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Platform. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws when you use GameDropoff — including hunting, tagging, transport, and game-handling regulations in your state. You represent that any game you submit for processing was lawfully taken and is accompanied by any documentation the law requires.

GameDropoff does not process game, inspect harvests, or verify licenses or tags, and it is not responsible for a hunter's or processor's compliance with wildlife or food-safety law. Food safety, licensing, and lawful handling of processed game are the responsibility of the processor and the hunter, together with the agencies that regulate them.

What GameDropoff Is

GameDropoff is a booking and payment platform that connects hunters with independent game processors and helps collect payment for the work. We are not a game processor, and we are not a party to the processing service itself. Processors are independent businesses, not our employees or agents.

Each processor is solely responsible for the accuracy of its storefront — pricing, services, hours, and photos — and for the quality, safety, and timeliness of the work it performs. We don't control, and don't guarantee, any individual shop's work. Any dispute about the processing itself is between the hunter and the processor, though we'll help where we reasonably can.

Accounts & Acceptable Use

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide — harvest details, contact info, and (for processors) business information. You agree not to use GameDropoff to submit false orders, harass another user, circumvent payments owed to a processor, upload unlawful or infringing content, scrape or overload the Platform, or otherwise misuse it. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates this.

Hunters & Payments

There is no subscription for hunters. When you pay a processor through GameDropoff (a deposit or a final balance), the payment is collected securely through Stripe and the processor's price for the work goes to the processor in full.

A service fee (currently 6% of the payment) is added at checkout and shown as its own line item before you confirm. The service fee helps cover secure payment processing, online booking, SMS notifications, order management, customer support, and operation of the GameDropoff platform. It is charged and retained by GameDropoff, and it is non-refundable — including where a deposit or balance is later refunded.

Some shops collect a deposit to hold your slot; it is set by the shop and applied to your final bill. Final balances are based on the actual weights and cuts of your order and are due online before pickup. You authorize GameDropoff to charge your selected payment method for the deposit, the final balance, and the service fee on each.

Processor Season Plan & Billing

The Season Plan is billed once per deer season, not monthly. Your listing, booking system, and dashboard stay active for the duration of the season you purchased. Unless you cancel, subscriptions may renew for the next season at the then-current price; processors can cancel auto-renewal at any time from the dashboard, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current term. Except as described in the Money-Back Guarantee above, subscription fees are non-refundable.

Processor Payouts & Obligations

Processor payouts are handled through Stripe Connect. To receive payouts, a processor must create and maintain a connected Stripe account and complete Stripe's identity and banking verification; payouts are governed by Stripe's Connected Account Agreement in addition to these Terms. When a hunter pays for an order, the processor's full price for the work is transferred to the processor's connected account, and GameDropoff retains the service fee.

Processors authorize GameDropoff to collect order payments on their behalf, to deduct and retain the service fee, and — where an order payment is later refunded, disputed, or charged back — to reverse the corresponding transfer or otherwise recover the associated amount from the processor's account or future payouts. Processors agree to fulfill the orders they accept, to honor their posted pricing, and to comply with all laws and licensing that apply to their business.

Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds of an order payment are handled between the hunter and the processor according to the processor's policy and the state of the order. Where a refund is issued, only the base order amount is eligible to be returned — the 6% service fee is retained by GameDropoff and is not refunded. If a processor cannot fulfill an accepted order, the hunter should receive a refund of amounts paid for that order (again, excluding the service fee). The Season Plan subscription is refundable only as described in the Money-Back Guarantee.

Reviews & Your Content

Reviews must reflect a genuine experience with a processor booked through GameDropoff. Fake, incentivized, or retaliatory reviews aren't allowed, and we may remove reviews that violate this or that contain abusive content. Processors may not offer discounts or payment in exchange for a review.

“Your content” means the reviews, ratings, photos (including harvest and order photos), storefront text, and other material you submit to the Platform. You keep ownership of your content. By submitting it, you grant GameDropoff a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sub-licensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the Platform. You represent that you own or have the rights to the content you submit, that it is accurate, and that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights or violate any law. You can remove your content or request its removal, though copies may remain in backups or where others have shared it.

Intellectual Property

The Platform itself — the GameDropoff name and logo, the software, the site design, and our original content — belongs to GameDropoff and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or create derivative works from the Platform except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We work to keep the Platform reliable, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, secure, or error-free, and we don't warrant the work of any processor or the conduct of any user.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GameDropoff is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform or from the acts or omissions of a processor or hunter you transact with. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GameDropoff and its owners, officers, and staff from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your content, your violation of these Terms or any law, or — for processors — the processing services you provide and your interactions with hunters.

Disputes, Arbitration & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. We hope never to have a dispute with you — but if we do, you and GameDropoff agree to first try to resolve it informally by contacting notifications@gamedropoff.com.

If we can't resolve it within 30 days, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration provider under its consumer rules, seated in Tennessee, rather than in court — except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief for intellectual-property or unauthorized-access matters. To the extent permitted by law, you and GameDropoff waive any right to a jury trial and agree that claims may be brought only on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing notifications@gamedropoff.com with your name and a statement that you opt out; the rest of these Terms will still apply.

Termination

You can stop using GameDropoff and close your account at any time. A processor's listing goes offline automatically if their Season Plan isn't renewed. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including payment obligations, content license, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — will survive.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the effective date above and do our best to notify active users by email, and — where the change is significant — ask you to accept the updated Terms. Your continued use of the Platform after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and GameDropoff about the Platform.
