How GameDropoff works
The whole flow in one page — how hunters book a drop-off, how shops take it in, and who pays what.
Welcome to GameDropoff!
GameDropoff connects hunters with deer processors. You book a drop-off online, the shop works your deer, and you both follow the same order from start to finish — no phone tag, no wondering whether it's ready.
If you're a hunter
- Find a shop. Browse processors near your hunt and compare services, pricing, and reviews.
- Book your drop-off. Pick an open slot and tell the shop what cuts you want. A 25% deposit holds it.
- Drop off your deer. You'll get the address and hours as soon as you book.
- Follow along. Your order moves from accepted, to dropped off, to in progress, to ready for pickup.
- Pay the balance and pick up. The rest is due once the work is done, and then your meat is ready.
If you're a processor
- Claim your shop. Find your listing and claim it, or create one from scratch.
- Set up your season. Add your price list, set the days and volume you can handle, and activate your Season Plan.
- Connect payouts. Your bank details go straight to Stripe so orders can pay out.
- Run your orders. Accept drop-offs, update each order as it moves through the shop, and let hunters know it's ready.
What it costs
Hunters never pay a subscription. You pay the shop's own price for the work, plus a 6% service fee on your order that covers secure payment, order tracking, and notifications.
Processors pay one price per season — not a monthly bill that keeps running all summer. You receive the full order amount with nothing deducted.
Staying in the loop
Both sides get a text and an email as an order changes hands, so nobody has to keep checking. You can change which notifications you get in your account settings.
